Estelle Chessid creates collages and assemblages from a varying combination of boxes, prints, pot-pourri, paint, glitter, brass bells, wire piping, styrofoam, plastic pieces, and found objects. Every image and decoration is integral to the piece’s central narrative; all the works tell a story, enticing the viewer with secret doors and half-hidden figures to surprise the senses through sight, smell, touch and sound.
